Welcome to
the record store of the soul
Sound + Shadow - a podcast where film, music, and memory collide. Host Trey spins stories from a life lived loud, breaking down soundtracks, lyrics, and cinematic moments that echo through time. Each episode is part mixtape, part memoir, part midnight radio transmission. Tune in for deep cuts, spoken word, and the kind of truth you only find in the shadows.
Hosted by Trey
For years, Trey worked behind the lens and behind the board — shaping sound, capturing light, and chasing stories across the frames of independent film. Eventually, life pulled him into the private sector, where he found himself staring at screens for different reasons, a drone in a cubicle hive. But the pulse of music and film never left him. He always searched for the soul beneath the surface — the truth tucked between lyrics, the ache behind a line of dialogue. That search continues, one story at a time. Join us for Sound + Shadow
